LEARN ABOUT OUR CAUSES icon

All of us have a duty to care for our elders. The Salvation Army operates a home for the elderly in a peaceful environment for retirees to live out their golden years in a fulfilling manner.

Care staff provide daily assistance to residents according to their needs and a range of activities are offered for those able to participate. Whilst residential care means living in a large family, every effort is made to give residents individual attention. They are encouraged to keep physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually fit while maintaining their interests and hobbies so that a meaningful life is attained.

PERAK HOME FOR THE AGED

The Salvation Army took over the operation of the home from the Little Sisters of the Poor in 1994.

The Home is situated in the quiet and idyllic township of Jelapang, Ipoh, Perak, where they can enjoy the sights of luscious green hills that Ipoh is famous for.

With dedicated care, love and support, these senior citizens can continue to be healthy and agile.
