Donations to The Salvation Army Social Fund are eligible for tax-deductible receipts under LHDN regulations. Refer to our Approval Letter for verification. To issue receipts, donors must provide full personal or company details. Support our mission today by contributing and ensuring your information is complete for tax-deduction processing.

  • Your name as per your NRIC/business registration​
  • Your NRIC/passport number/business registration number​
  • Your complete postal address of current residence/business location​

You can donate via DuitNow with the following steps:​

  • Scan the QR code with your e-wallet or mobile banking app​
  • Key in your preferred donation amount

To receive your tax-exempt receipt, please send an e-mail to pr.malaysia@smmt.salvationarmy.org along with the following details:​

  1. Screenshot of the transaction​
  2. Your name as per your NRIC/business registration​
  3. Your NRIC/passport number/business registration number​
  4. Your complete postal address of current residence/business location​

  1. All donations made to The Salvation Army Malaysia stays in the country and goes directly to beneficiaries in Malaysia. ​
  2. Donations made to The Salvation Army Social Fund are tax deductible only for individuals/corporations who file taxes in Malaysia. To search for our tax-exempt status on the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia’s website, search for “Salvation Army Social Fund”.
  3. If you wish to specify your donation for a particular centre/home or a particular use under The Salvation Army, please indicate so in your correspondence to us. “E.g.: for use for Penang Children’s Home”​
