Protecting Children,
Building Brighter Tomorrows
The Salvation Army Children's Homes
Every child deserves a safe home, a loving community, and the chance to grow into their full potential. Across Malaysia, The Salvation Army operates four residential children’s homes—Kuching Children’s Care Centre, Penang Children’s Home, Ipoh Boys’ Home, and Ipoh Children’s Home—providing a secure, nurturing environment for children who have experienced abandonment, neglect, abuse, or family crisis.
Through our holistic care model, we go beyond shelter. We integrate emotional wellness with holistic education, equipping children with the academic, life, and emotional skills they need to break free from cycles of poverty and hardship. Our approach ensures each child receives not only protection but also the tools to build a brighter future.
