Our Family Support & Counselling services walk alongside underprivileged and low-income families through life’s toughest moments. We serve single-parent mothers and their children, individuals facing serious illness, and families navigating mental health challenges—creating a safe, nurturing environment where hope and resilience can grow.

Our dedicated team of trained professionals provides both compassionate counselling and practical assistance. Working hand-in-hand with families, we identify effective solutions, build coping strategies, and strengthen support networks—helping each person take positive steps toward a brighter future.

How We Help

We combine emotional, practical, and community-based support to address challenges from every angle:

Counselling & Emotional Support

Where necessary our counsellors provide a safe space for individuals to express their feelings and receive guidance on managing their emotional well-being.

Empowerment Workshops

We conduct workshops focused on skill development, financial literacy, and personal growth, empowering individuals to take control of their lives.

Community Engagement

We organize community events and activities that foster a sense of belonging and mutual support among our clients.

Practical Aid

We offer monthly food baskets, school equipment, and assistance in applications for Government subsidies.

By providing these comprehensive services, we strive to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those we serve, helping them to thrive despite their circumstances.

Living Our Faith (The Salvation Army Corps)

Since 1938, The Salvation Army Corps in Malaysia has been a place where faith comes alive through service. Today, we operate 10 corps (churches) alongside more than 20 social service programmes nationwide, with each serving as a welcoming hub for worship, fellowship, and community outreach.

Our corps are open to everyone, offering Sunday services, youth and family programmes, and spiritual care in an inclusive, supportive environment.

To preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and meet human needs without discrimination.

We believe the message of Christ is best shared through compassionate action—feeding the hungry, caring for the vulnerable, and standing with those in need, while offering the hope and joy found in the Christian faith.

Worship Services – Weekly gatherings with prayer, music, and biblical teaching.
Youth & Family Ministries – Programmes that nurture faith, relationships, and life skills.
